Buying A Home In April?

At the start of each month, using real-time mortgage and real estate data, we update one of our most popular articles, "Is Now A Good Time To Buy Your First House?

The April 2024 article and accompanying YouTube video are getting their finishing touches today. So, I will give you a sneak preview of why this month is an excellent time to buy your first home.

It might not feel like a good time to buy a home, but it is. Here's why:

  1. Mortgage rates are lower from March

  2. Home prices aren't coming down soon

  3. Sellers are getting buyers to do risky things

Plus, eligible first-time home buyers still get mortgage rate discounts on their conventional loans.

It's definitely not the best time to buy a home in history, but it's a better time than it will be six months from now. If you're active and looking for homes, remember to get pre-approved.

Our YouTube TV Show

Homebuyer.com Hosts: Mike Simonsen of Altos Research

We're producing a YouTube show called "Homebuyer Hosts...." that brings on brilliant people to talk about topics that matter to home buyers.

I can promise you two things about each show:

  1. You won't know our guests by face or name

  2. You'll be a better buyer after watching

Each show runs like a news program. It lasts less than five minutes, and we cram it with home buyer information you won't get anywhere else.

Our most recent episode features Mike Simonsen of Altos Research. Mike is a real estate data expert.

One more thing: I don't love the name "Homebuyer Hosts....". If you reply to this email with a better name and we end up using it, I will send you the famous Homebuyer t-shirt.

Just hit reply and give me your ideas.
