30 Days To A Higher Credit Score

February 26, 2024

Hello Home Buyer.

In my last newsletter, I shared a sneak peak of our 6-part email welcome series for new subscribers.

You won't get those emails because you're already a subscriber, so I'd like to share another helpful snippet from the sequence. This one talks about credit scoring.

The premise is that, if you're not already under contract, there are 5 proven ways to lift your credit score in 30 days. You could collect as many as 100 points extra points.

For many people, 100 credit score points is the difference between buying the home of your dreams and simply "buying a home."

Here is an excerpt from "The Credit Score" email:

Imperfect credit doesn’t mean you can’t buy a home. But there are two things a higher credit score does for you:

One, you can make a smaller down payment.

Two, your interest rate is lower.

That’s why pre-approval is so important. When you get an Immediate Mortgage Approval by Homebuyer.com, you’ll know:

👉 Your credit score

👉 The lowest down payment you’re cleared to make

👉 What mortgage rate you’ll get

👉 The upper limit of how much home you can buy

If the pre-approval says your credit score is low or your interest rate is high, you’ve got time to make improvements.

I've seen too many first-time buyers ignore their credit score until it's too late to make an improvement. I don't want you suffering a similar fate - not while you have 30 days or more at your disposal.

I also made a video that goes with the email. It's up on our YouTube channel. If you're not already subscribed to the channel, subscribe here and you'll have access to daily mortgage rate videos.

Happy Homebuying!
